Accept the offer: The vendor has the option to accept the offer you have made. Cancel the offer: If the vendor is not happy with the offer then they have a chance to cancel the reservation.

What happens if the vendor cancel the offer?

We can suggest other available domains at the same price you have reserved, or you can inquire about other domains. Additionally, we can request on behalf of the domain you are interested in. If there is still no solution after these processes, we will refund the amount.

Can I directly contact the domain vendor on behalf of 2-5.org?

Yes, we respect the privacy of users and vendors. If the vendor accepts your request, you can disable 2-5.org

When you make a purchase using a credit card, we "authorize" funds on your credit card. This is not a charge, but a test to make sure you have the funds available for the purchase. The net result is that your account not charged. In most cases, the original authorization charge is removed from your credit card account within a few days.

Can I get a refund on a domain name?

Use HTTP (Hypertext Transfer Protocol). We don't support HTTPS forwarding because we use a single IP for domains that forward. For example, you must forward your domain to another website like http://example.com

Are there any fees to change nameservers or add any records?

I have a website. How can I point my domain to it?

There are two ways that you can point your domain to your website: You can change the domain's DNS (Domain Name Server) information to that of your website OR you can use our domain forwarding service.

I own a large number of domains. How can I easily find the ones I want to manage?

In your panel there is a Search text field, enter any part of the domain names that you want to find, and then click Search. Only the domains that meet your criteria are displayed.

How can I protect my domain from being stolen?

To secure your domain against unauthorized transfers, you can lock your domain. This is a security feature that has been designed to ensure that you have full control over any changes made to your domain.

What is an Authorization Code?

The authorization code is a unique combination of characters, similar to a password, that is used to show verifiable proof of ownership of a domain. If you are transferring a domain to another service provider, you must supply the auth code to that provider to show that you have the authority to transfer the domain. The auth code can only be generated by the owner of the domain.

How do I renew my domain?

Log in to your account, click on 'Your Domains', select the domain you wish to renew, proceed to 'Your Cart', and complete the process.

How long can I renew my domain?

You can renew your domain for up to 10 years.

I own a large number of domains. Can I easily renew them?

Yes, Log in to your account, click on 'Your Domains', select many domains you wish to renew, click on 'Bulk Renew', proceed to 'Your Cart', and complete the process.

Can I set my domain to renew automatically?

Yes, you can configure your domain to renew automatically prior to its expiry date. When you purchase your domain, in your shopping cart, you will see an option called Turn on Auto Renew to automatically renew your domain every year. When this option is selected (which it is by default), we will renew your domain 30 days prior to its expiry date, and we will bill your default credit card. If we are unable to process your renewal payment for any reason, we will let you know via email so that you can correct the issue and your domain can be renewed.

Can I change the settings of my domain to renew automatically?

Yes, if you did not enable Auto-Renew for your domain when you purchased it, you can change the setting at any time.

My domain expired! How can I get it back? (for less than 40 days)

If a domain name is not renewed by its expiry date, it is not immediately deleted, although it does cease to operate. During the 40 days following the expiry date (also known as the Grace Period) you can reinstate the domain name simply by renewing it.

When your domain has been expired for more than 40 days, it enters the Redemption Period, which lasts for 25 days. In the panel, you will see (in redemption) in the Auto Renew column for that domain name. You can redeem the domain name during the Redemption Period; however, the cost is higher than a simple renewal.

What is the contact privacy?

Contact Privacy is a service that hides your identity (address, phone number, email address) whenever a Whois lookup is done on your domain name.

Do you have a way to secure my Whois information?

Yes, we provide two options for securing your Whois information. First, you can add Contact Privacy when you register, renew, or edit your domain. There is a small annual fee for the Contact Privacy service. Second, if you didn't choose Contact Privacy when registering your domain, you will receive an email from https://approve.domainadmin.com/ after registration. You can then choose whether your domain information is made public or not. This service is free and does not have an annual fee.

How can I find out the Whois information for a domain?

Whois databases are specific to each registrar. To find out who the registrar is for a name, go to https://lookup.icann.org/

I made a change to my DNS. Why doesn't it show up?

It usually takes two business days for updates to be seen elsewhere on the web, including hosting information. This is standard Internet propagation time. Additionally, some Whois databases are not compatible with others. You may wish to use a central whois lookup, as one registrar may not carry another's information. If you have forgotten your username and/or password, we can send it to you via email. We will email your username and/or password to the email address that you supplied when you created your account.

Can I transfer in a domain name I already own?

Yes, transferring a domain is a very simple process. Please allow 7 to 10 days for the transfer to complete.

What is the Registrar link used for?

The Registrar link is used when you are transferring a .UK domain to another Registrar. The gaining Registrar initiates the transfer for you, and to complete the transfer, you need to enter the tag for the new Registrar.

What is the shortest domain name?

The shortest domain name possible is the root domain (.) which is the top of the DNS hierarchy. It is already in use and not available for sale. Otherwise, you would need to use single-letter domains.

Can domains have one letter?

Yes, it is possible to have single character for top level domain name.

Because it's easier to gain popularity and to drive more traffic.
